La Recuperación de la teología política en el movimiento neoconservador norteamericano: Leo Strauss y Erik Voegelin
Abstract
En este artículo exponemos las principales características del movimiento neoconservador norteamericano. Esta corriente puede ser calificada como una forma de teología política ya que legitima el llamado “capitalismo democrático” desde el tradicionalismo religioso cristiano. A continuación, desarrollamos las contribuciones que Leo Strauss y Erik Voegelin aportaron al movimiento neoconservador desde sus respectivos planteamientos de filosofía política. Abstract: In this article we present the main characteristics of the North American neoconservative movement. This current can be described as a form of political theology because it legitimizes the so-called “democratic capitalism” from Christian religious traditionalism. Next, we develop the contributions of Leo Strauss and Erik Voegelin to the neoconservative movement from their respective approaches to political philosophy.
