- The current technologies for obtaining spatial data are very accurate, and allow the capture information from a wide geographical area in a short time. An example is the laser scanning and another well-known one is the high-resolution aerial photographs. In this context, the extraction from these data has received considerable attention. With the combination of these different types of data, it is possible to improve the results obtained from the extraction of objects in complex scenes and therefore this study aims to develop a tool that automates the extraction of the roofs’ contours. s
