Analisis Penggunaan Baterai Lead Acid dan Lithium Ion dengan Sumber Solar Panel
Abstract
Â ABSTRACT Batteries are an important part of the off-grid PLTS system. Constraints that often occur in batteries are short cycles and losses due to the influence of internal resistance so it is not optimal when charging or discharging. In this study, a test was conducted to compare the characteristics of a 12 Ah Lead-Acid battery and a 12 Ah Lithium-Ion battery in a 120 Wp off-grid solar panel system. Maximum charging test of 5 hours, Discharging with a 12 Ohm adjustable resistor load with a maximum of 12 hours of testing (Cut Off). The method used is modified Coulomb Counting and SoC Approach with Constant Current Simulation. Based on the research results, to maintain the life cycle of the battery, the best time to prevent deep discharge, SoC is 57.833% Lead-Acid battery and 42.839% Lithium-Ion battery. Charging Lead Acid batteries has a Constant Voltage of 13.1 V and Lithium on batteries have a Constant Current of 2.4 A when discharging.
