Companies seek to continuously improve their processes in order to provide the market with competitive products. In this scenario, manufacturing plays a key role to achieve the results, and so the need arises to establish indicators to know the actual efficiency of the production process and foster this process of continuous improvement. Based on this premise, the aim of this paper is to use an analog indicator for Overall Equipment Effectiveness, the Overall Line Effectiveness, whose structure has been modified from the original indicator to identify losses not considered by the primitive indicator. The case study was conducted in a bottling line of a wine industry, and was able to show the real process efficiency and identify opportunities for improvements in this process. Research limitations and future work opportunities were highlighted.
