Una de esas «Otras cosillas que también se han de tener en la librería»: La Historia de Amic y Meliz, Sevilla, Juan Cromberger, 1531

Abstract

This article proposes a possible publication date of a short story of a Castilian chivalric tale of the 16th century recently discovered in the light of the various catalogues and directories imagined at the time by Hernando Colón to organize his library. It appears in one of them that the Historia de Amic y Meliz, of which only one folio has come down to the present day, was printed in Seville in the workshop of Cromberger in 1531. We also present, for the first time, a reproduction of the recovered folio.
