Defensinas: una nueva perspectiva en antibioticoterapia

Abstract

We update the concepts on defensins. Defensins are cationic molecules with microbicidal activities against different microorganisms. Sorne of them have been described, as constituents in different human tissues while others, as hBD-2, are found only during the infection processes.
