In a laboratory experiment, insects larvae were infected with spores of a strain of M. verrucaria to establish the fungal sensitivity of the larvae. The fungus was reisolated from 30% of dead Scotia sp., 6,6% O. brumata, 10% P. ribesii, 20% Anobidae sp., 10% A. pomorum. Investigated strain of M. verrucaria seems to be potential insect pathogens.
