The quantitative content of Li, Ca, Cu, Mn, Zn, Cd, Pb was considered in 19 species of plant raw materials of Stavropol territory. Criteria of safety levels of microelements are discussed for raw materials for pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries. Variability of element composition of plant sources was demonstrated, and their applicability for the technology of food products and biologically-active compounds
