"Eso es imposible": Willow, el fin de la magia

Abstract

Using the "structure of feeling" (Williams), we propose a reading of the script ofWillow(1988), from feminist theory, postcolonial studies and deconstruction. The article suggests that the film appropriates classic texts from religious and fantasy literature to propose that magic is a form of power and power a special case of trick. The trick, in turn, may be appropriated bythe subaltern charac-ters.
