Sebaran Kualitas Air Sumur Di Sekitar TPA Randegan Kota Mojokerto Berbasis Sistem Informasi Geografis
Abstract
Kata kunci: coliform, mangan, metode IDW, TDS ABSTRACT Problems in decreasing the quality of well water in Mojokerto City are caused by human activities that produce waste. The city of Mojokerto has a Randegan Landfill located in Magersari District. Leachate produced from landfill can seep into the soil which causes soil and groundwater pollution. This is because leachate contains organic and inorganic chemicals and pathogenic bacteria. The purpose of this research is to analyze the quality of well water around TPA Randegan and analyze the relationship between TPA activity and the well distance from TPA with well water quality. Sampling was conducted by purposive sampling method at 6 sampling points of the resident’s well water. Based on results, well water quality in T1 (50 meters from the active landfill zone) and T2 (70 meters from the active landfill zone) did not meet the quality standard for several parameter. The quality of water in T1 has the worst quality of well water, whereas in T6 sample (400 meters from the active landfill zone) has the best quality of well water. Some parameters such as TDS, conductivity, nitrate, nitrite, iron, manganese, hardness, chloride, total coliform and E.coli show a linear relationhip between sampling distance and the quality of well water.
