The aim of this study is to present some preliminary results of Creative Self-efficacy Scale (CSE; Yi, Scheithauer, Lin & Schwarzer, 2008) adaptation in Argentinian population. CSE was originally designed in order to obtain a short and appropriate instrument for measuring creative self-efficacy. It is composed of five items with a 4-point likert response, ranging from not at all true to exactly true. The sample included 298 participants (205 females; 93 males). Reliability analysis showed a good internal consistency (α = .675). Scale factor structure was analyzed using exploratory factor analysis (EFA), and the results support the unidimensionality of the construct, with one factor explaining 44.25 % of the variance. Also it was examined scale convergent validity with others related measures. CSE was positively correlated with General Self Efficacy Scale (r = .640; p < .01), Creative Personality Scale (r = .258; p < .01) and with Autonomy scale from the Psychological Well-being Scales (r = .304; p < .01). Lastly, no difference in scores by sex, age and educational level was found.
