José Siqueira e a Suíte Sertaneja para violoncelo e piano sob a ótica tripartite
Abstract
This article presents an analysis of José Siqueira´s (1907-1985) Suíte Sertaneja for cello and piano based on the Tripartite model of Nattiez–Molino as well as the “trimodal” system of the composer himself. A semiological analysis on the immanent, poietic, and esthesic levels unveils a broader view of the work, making it possible to convey a more grounded and conscious performance. This article deals with the analysis of the first movement of the Suite, namely the “baião”.
