Turkey is located in a geographical region with high solar energy potential. Meteorological factors, which make the solar potential high, directly affect electricity production. Forecasting electricity production under predicted meteorological conditions for current generators will help to make production planning. At the same time, it will be encouraging for investors to predict power output in investments to be made in different regions. In this study, the production data of the 400kW solar power plant within the body of İzmir Bakırçay University for the year 2020 were analyzed together with the meteorological data obtained from the İzmir Regional Directorate of Meteorology and they were compared in monthly periods. It is aimed to guide the production and investments to be made in the future with the explanation of the change in the electricity produced by associating it with meteorological factors.
