History, current situation, and future development of Mongolian medicine

Abstract

Mongolian medicine is an important branch of traditional Chinese medicine. The history, current situation, characteristics, advantages, and future development of Mongolian medicine are summarized in this article. The historical background, origin, and application of Mongolian medicine are introduced. The rapid development of Mongolian medical education after the founding of the People's Republic of China is also briefly mentioned. Finally, the developmental prospects of Mongolian medicine in the future are discussed from two aspects, taking advantage of modern science and technology, and updating Mongolian herbal medicine and therapeutic instruments.
