This paper presents a Computer Algebra System (CAS) package, Interactive Learning-Mathematica Enhanced Vector Calculus (ILMEV), specifically designed to assist users in performing the tasks that involves vector calculus. The design of ILMEV system is divided into four parts: (i) content, (ii) interfaces, (iii) features, and (iv) mathematical environment. An easy to use interface was developed in ILMEV with the purpose of (i) allowing students access to the power of a CAS without having to struggle with the CAS’s syntax for formula entry, editing and mathematical operations, (ii) implementing CAS pedagogical concepts efficiently and (iii) providing a suitable mathematical environment to develop symbolic integration algorithms
