Quality parameters to control algebraic surface grids
Abstract
In this paper we discuss a strategy to provide geometrical control of algebraic grid surfaces by means of a re-parametrization procedure combined with the use of quality parameters for grid surfaces. The re-parametrization phase is based on a tensor product transformation following given directions. The free parameters in the tensor product are set by solving an optimization problem that uses objective functions based on grid quality measure parameters.
