Review of the genus Pelosia Hübner (Lepidoptera: Noctuoidea: Erebidae: Arctiinae) in Korea with checklist of the known species

The genus Pelosia Hübner [1819] in South Korea, which is represented with five species, P. angusta, P. muscerda, P. noctis, P. obtusa and P. ramosula is reviewed. Among these, P. obtusa is newly recorded from South Korea, and one of the Korean rare species, P. ramosula is re-examined herein. Illustrations of adults, genitalia of all examined species and wing venation are provided, with a key to the known species of the genus Pelosia in the world.
