This paper deals with a survey of the intellectual production carried out by the research group "Philosophy of education" also known as GT 17. This program takes place within the National Association of Research and Post-graduation in Education (ANPEd). The survey studies the period when the program was institutionalized in 1994, until 2008. The aim of this paper is to identify the subjects that are more emphasized in this production and the ones less emphasized as well as the theoretical perspectives that support them and finally the institutional and geographic origins of the works. In terms of methodology, this publication results in a bibliographic and documentary survey. It consists of the analysis of a variety of documents such as correspondence, reports, minutes, annals, journals and ANPEd CD-ROM, from the focal period. On the basis of quantitative data, the paper provides reflexive elements concerning to the possible epistemological pathways followed by philosophy of education in ANPEd.
