Age Structure of the Population in the Raska Region

Abstract

Raska region is area with the most complex ethnodemographic structure and its development in the past and today. On the basis of the political, economic, social and cultural changes in the Raska region, during the turn of the century, a significant transformation of demographic phenomena and processes that are significantly chose the age structure of its population. The paper discusses the changes and achieved the level of population age structure Raska region, with special emphasis on polarization in relation to the level of age structure of different ethnic groups.
