Polje in karst landscape of Drienocká vrchovina higland

Abstract

Karst landscape of Drienocká vrchovina higland is a territory with high rate of surface and underground karst process. In the three karst parts of the Ponický, Drienocký and Môlčanský karst territories all imoportant forms and effects occur. They depend on karst and fluviokarst processes.There occurs a rare karst form in Slovakia – polje in the Lehotský karst.We are deliminated polje Pôlč and polje Brezie.
