Gilda de Mello e Souza : une essayiste singulière, une écriture lumineuse
Abstract
As a leading figure of the cultural renewal that gave women access to an intellectual environment previously restricted to them, Gilda de Mello Souza (1919-2005) established an enduring and unique place in Brazilian social thought. This article has three objectives: to trace Gilda's biographical and intellectual trajectory; identify the principal currents of her work; understand how she used her idiosyncrasies to establish herself as a distinctive presence in Brazilian social thought.
