Skin care for children in the early period of life remains a challenge till today. Due to the anatomical and physiological characteristics of children, their protective skin function, which serves as a safeguard against stressful external conditions, is significantly reduced. The influence of various damaging factors and incorrect use of care products can lead to skin disorders. The most common skin problems of infants include diaper (contact) dermatitis, the prevalence of which can be up to 50%. The relevance of adequate skin care is undoubtedly the key element of dermatitis prevention.
