Organization of Publishing Activity in Modern Library: New Tendencies in Library Space

Abstract

The question of publishing activity of modern scientific library is reflected in the article. The location of scientific libraries is determined in a digital environment. The prospects of development of publishing activity of scientific libraries of Ukraine are examined. It is marked expansion of presence of scientific library in social networks, development of new forms of publishing activity. Attention is accented on creation with introduction of internet-technologies of the proper normatively-legal base that would regulate publishing activity in a new communication environment in social medias. It is underlined that in the conditions of EITS development modern users’ demand on scientific library’ analytical, research and information products increases. It is marked that the important constituent of publishing activity is a editing and publishing process. To advance level of publishing products of modern library, research, information, and scientific editions, the ways to improve preparing of such editions are offered.
