Abstract

In the last few years, Jean-Claude Dionne, an occupational hygienist, has developed a passion for the history of workplace health and safety development in Québec. He has agreed to share the results of his archival research with us. The following text is the first of a trilogy that allows readers to follow in the footsteps of the pioneers of public workplace health and safety in Québec, up to the present day.
