Review of the monograph «Strategizing of the regional real estate market in the contingency period» by P.M. Petrova (Moscow, St. Petersburg, 2024)

Abstract

One of the most important goals of the process of strategizing the socio-economic development of national economy entities is to improve the quality of human life, which is assessed by various indicators, including the housing affordability indicator. This indicator is the most important indicator of the socio-economic well-being of the population of the country and its regions. In the conditions of changes in this indicator, the social environment in the region may change, which affects both the emotional state of the population and the material one. At the same time, changes in the sphere of residential real estate also affect the sustainability of the development of the entire regional economic system. The monograph by P.M. Petrova, submitted for review, is devoted to the study of these processes and the identification of strategic priorities for the development of the regional residential real estate market in the conditions of extraordinary market conditions.
