Abstract
On March 8, 1922 José Vázquez Miranda, Chief of Telegraphs in Cieza, presents patent application for five years about a method sullen catch mice, house mice, lizards, snakes and all kinds of vermin.No trivial matter if we think that in the early twentieth century in Spain gave a series of plagues that would increase the concern to get rid of insects and rodents, such as locusts, rats and mice that were threatening crops and stocks of cereal. The control of pests and diseases was and remains a constant in all countries of the World. Vázquez Miranda manages the grant of the patent and introduce a striking alternative to the functioning of his invention.
