Sledování proudění polétavého prachu v ovzduší od zdrojů v průmyslové aglomeraci pomocí markerů/Monitoring Airborne Dust Flow in Air from Industrial Agglomeration Sources Using Markers
Abstract
Emissions propagated by industrial enterprises were monitored using Instrumental Neutron Activation Analysis (INAA) and markers. The markers were injected by shooting charges containing Mo, La, Ce, Co, KI and Ba(NO3 )2 with 1 to 2 g weight to 30–40 m height. Filtered injections were performed at 0.85 – 4.5 km from the receptor and the ratio of filter marker weight to the injected weight was in 10–5 – 10–8 order of magnitude. Re-emission after dry deposition was determined in five markers. The dust exposure on the filters always lasted between one and three weeks and dust composition with approximately 30 elements was determined by INAA. Refinements to this method can certify the source proportions of polluters and the mathematical models of emissions propagation are verifiable by use of markers.
