Many older people lose their ability to live independently, due to limited movement, chronic pain, weakness, or other psychological and physical problems, all of these factors can lead to loneliness and psychological distress to them, so they need a form of Long-term care, which was the responsibility of family members, and because of the shrinking family size, the increase in the life expectancy of the elderly, and the geographical dispersion of families, it became difficult for the family to fulfill this role. Hence the need to secure appropriate and safe accommodation for the elderly, by creating environments that allow him to practice integrated healthy lifestyles, and strategies that guarantee him the necessary resources to meet his basic and recreational needs, as well as technological capabilities that help him perform daily activities in a simpler and more easy way. From here comes the importance of interior design for nursing homes in proportion to their psychological, organic and social needs and to provide security and well-being through the provision of long-term full home care from housing, entertainment, support and personal care.
