Astier law in 1919 and training tax creation in 1925 begin a vast campaign of professional national schools opening. Besançon clock-making school was created in 1921 and Morez optical school in 1925. Both born of a council clock-making school, they are well introduced in local industrial world. Architect Paul Guadet, great supporter of reinforced concrete, designs for them buildings now seen as part of twentieth-century heritage.
