This paper aims to enquire into the contributions of feminist epistemology to critical research in Social Sciences. Our starting point is a single situated research: “Homoparental Families: Counter hegemonic narratives of parenthood”, based on the methodology of narrative production that deals with Donna Haraway's approach of “situated knowledge” (1995). This narratives question hegemonic theories and practice that have concrete effects on homoparental families’ lives—often related to the suffering and stigmatization of its members—bringing into the spotlight the creation of innovative, singular ways of living in our society.
