Tindak Tutur Direktif dalam Khotbah Pendeta di Gereja Kristen Protestan Kota Malang

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the use of directive speech acts in the context of Protestant Christian sermons. This research is a type of pragmatic research that examines the meaning of a speech in a particular context. The data source of this research was obtained from reverend sermons in five churches in Malang. The results showed that the preaching speech of the reverend in a Protestant Christian church in Malang used directive speech acts to express order to the congregation. These orders are studied based on the form of directive speech, the function of directive speech, and the strategy for delivering a directive speech. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan tindak tutur direktif dalam konteks khotbah keagamaan Kristen Protestan. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pragmatik yang mengkaji makna dari sebuah tuturan dalam konteks tertentu. Sumber data penelitian ini diperoleh dari tuturan khotbah pendeta di lima gereja yang berada di Kota Malang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tuturan khotbah pendeta di gereja Kristen Protestan yang berada di kota Malang menggunakan tindak tutur direktif untuk menyatakan suatu perintah kepada jemaat. Perintah tersebut dikaji berdasarkan wujud tuturan direktif, fungsi tuturan direktif, dan strategi penyampaian tuturan direktif.
