This paper aims an investigation into the possible dialogue between the Social Right condensed by Georges Gurvitch’s theory and the current philosophical and political streaming of the Responsive Communitarism of Amitai Etzioni. It seeks evidences for possible connections between the variables of similarities and differences. It was concluded that, despite the notable differences between the authors, the theories seek something in common: social integration in a democratic environment. The rejection of extreme positions, that print individualism, is the driving force to the construction of a self-regulated rights by the society [Gurvitch] and also by Etzioni, in which, to design a Platform that works like a third way to individualism and social conservatism.
