Uma abordagem sobre as técnicas estendidas utilizadas no fagote e a importância da cooperação do compositor e do intérprete para o aperfeiçoamento do repertório

Abstract

This article, based on an ongoing doctoral research project, discusses the work of Bruno Bartolozzi, in collaboration with bassoonist Sérgio Penazzi, relating to the development of extended technique on the bassoon. It considers the importance of cooperation between composer and performer and the relevance thereof, as suggested by improved results when using extended technique in musical works composed for bassoon. In this article, the positive outcomes of this kind of cooperation are exemplified with reference to two musical compositions.
