Education on moral values: professional practices in school context

This paper presents the results of a research about education in moral values (EMV) at primary and secondary public school in Espírito Santo state. The data analyzed came from a questionnaire applied to 92 educational workers, and available in online and print forms. The reports are (1) most of the practices emphasized social values; (2) respect was the most addressed topic at moral and ethics values teaching; (3) great part of the experiments lasted 12 or more months; and (4) the general and artistic actions were the main working method for EMV. The data obtained in this study has practical effects, and can subsidize public politics implementations for the training and improvement of educational workers about EMV. Education in moral values.
