Abstract

The study of colors is of great importance in Islamic civilization. It is the material evidence at the level reached by material civilization, and on the social classes and their distinction. In the arts, colors are among the finest pages in the Islamic art record that justify the genius and originality of a Muslim artist in industry and art. This study aims at defining the colors and their manifestations in the Islamic civilization and the aesthetic aspects that they occupy in the manuscripts.
