Arqueologia Subaquática na Enseada da Praia do Farol da Ilha do Bom Abrigo (SP)
Abstract
No more studied than shipwreck sites, but no less important, deposits sites are excellent sources of documentation material. The bay of Bom Abrigo island establish itself in a deposit site for excellence, formed by social utilization in this great natural anchorage since beginning of the XVI century. This article objectifies to explain the archaeological research that was developed in that space, that it is inserted in the historical-marine context of the south coast of the State of São Paulo.
