Abstract

Dans le contexte du Chili post-dictature, il s’agira d’analyser les carrières politiques et les stratégies de visibilisation de certains leaders d’associations indiennes mapuche, notamment en ce qui concerne leur capacité à investir les médias locaux et nationaux, dans une tension permanente entre essentialisation et revendications politiques.This article analyzes the political careers and visibilisation strategies of some Indian associations leaders in post-dictatorship Chile. The focus is especially centered on their ability to invest the local and national media, in a permanent tension between essentialized representations and political demands.
