BASIC MOBILITY OF FOOTBALL PLAYERS AND NON-SPORTSMEN AT PREADOLESCENT AGE
Abstract
The main objective of this research is to establish differences in basic mobility of football players and nonsportsmen at preadolescent age. The sample of examinees consisted of 75 students at age of 12 years ± 6 months. The group of football players consisted of 35 boys, attendants of several football schools from Niš, with football experience of at least year and a half. The group of nonsportsmen consisted of 40 students never active in sport. The assessment of basic mobility was carried out through eleven variables. By means of canonical discriminative analysis it is established that there are global differences between two subsamples in favor of football players, which can be variated by the positive transfer of trainings and oriented selection.
