Acrylie fiber was prepared by wet spinning with sodium thiocyanate, and the effects of temperature, time and shrinkage on fiber properties during densification were studied. The results show that the optimum densification temperature of acrylic fiber is 110 ℃ and the densification time is about 90 s.A certain shrinkage rate should be given in the densification process to improve the densification effect. With the increase of fiber shrinkage during densification, the density of the densified fiber increases, the orientation degree decreases, the specific strength at break decreases and the elongation at break increases. After densification, the cross section of the fiber changes from coarse to fine, which indicates that the inhomogeneity in the fiber is eliminated and the structure becomes dense during densification.
