The production of craft beer has aroused curiosity and conquered scholars and admirers. Among them, the participation of the female audience stands out, which, in addition to having expressive participation in consumption, has also been occupying a prominent place as a producer of the drink. This article aimed to learn, interpret and understand the practices of craft beer production carried out by women, in the homebrewing modality, by highlighting the material, social and symbolic aspects inherent to these practices. To this end, elements of the Theory of Practice were adopted as a research lens, such as rules, teleaffective structures, motivations, and knowledge that permeate the production of craft beer by women. Qualitative and descriptive research was employed, and data were collected during six processes of craft beer production by women, with image records, field diaries, and interviews. The results made it possible to identify, among other aspects that these women are encouraged to produce beer for their consumption, as well as for the pleasure and satisfaction of sharing the drink and being recognized.
