Contextul religios și factorii favorizanți ai apariției confesiunilor neoprotestante în teritoriile românești

Abstract

The author has analysed in this article the main factors that have facilitated the emergence of the so-called neo-Protestant churches, such as the Baptists, the Brethren and the Pentecostals, in Romania. One of the fundamental factors was the fact that neo-Protestant teachings have been found to have met the profound spiritual longings of people dissatisfied with the irrelevancy of the teachings and worship of historic Christianity, such as Orthodoxy, Catholicism, or magisterial Protestantism.
