Co-combustion kinetic and synergistic effects analysis of penicillin residue and coal
Abstract
Aiming at the problem that antibiotics residue could not be utilized in a short time, the combustion characteristics and kinetics of penicillin residue and its mixture with coal were investigated by using thermogravimetry-differential scanning calorimetry(TG-DSC).The combustion process of blends (denoted as 5%~30%for the mass fraction bacterial residue) were systematically investigated, and the activation energy of the combustion process of the blends were calculated by flynn-wall-ozawa(FWO) and vyazovkin(V),andthe kinetic mechanism functions were solved by the integral master graph method. The results show that co-combustion of the blends mainly consists of two stages which are the volatile matter combustion of antibiotics residue and the combustion of coal fixed carbon. When the antibiotics residue blending ratio is 10%,the average activation energy of the blends is the lowest, the synergistic effects are the strongest, and the activation energy calculated by the two methods are [BF]139.63[BFQ] kJ/mol (FWO) and [BF]141.67[BFQ] kJ/mol (V),respectively.[JP2]The mechanism functions are further solved by integrating master graph method, and the mechanism function of the first stage of combustion reaction is \[-ln[BF]([BFQ]1-α[BF])[BFQ]\]4,[JP]the reaction mechanism is “random nucleation and subsequent growth”,the mechanism function of the second stage is α2,and the reaction mechanism is “one-dimensional diffusion”.The results reveal the coordinated reaction mechanism of the mixed combustion of antibiotics residue and coal, which provides theoretical support for the realization of the resource treatment of antibiotics residue.[HQ]
