Teoría y política en clave de género

Abstract

This paper focuses, on one hand, on the inclusion of the meanings of gender in different theories where debates about democracy and citizenship converge, in connection with the inclusion/exclusion of women in the public sphere. On the other hand, considers public policies of inclusion oriented to promote the participation of women in politics and women’s access to political representation. To conclude, reflections about the links between gender theories and politics are presented.
