New Additions to the Collection of Old Printed Books of the Library of the Ekaterinburg Theological Seminary: Books of the 17th–18th Centuries (Part 2)
Abstract
The article presents materials on the book archeography of the Cyril tradition. The work introduces to readers old printed books from the collection of Ekaterinburg Theological Seminary. It contains a scientific description of fourteen old printed books of the 17th–18th centuries. The 17-century books are: 1) Psalter with an Inscription (Moscow: Pechatny dvor, November 5, 1625); 2) Euchologion (Moscow: Pechatny dvor, June 29, 1633); 3) Psalter with an Inscription (Moscow: Pechatny dvor, May 12, 1642); 4) Service Book, Life and Miracles of Nicholas the Wonderworker (Moscow: Pechatny dvor, August 7, 1643); 5) The Synaxarion, second half (Moscow: Pechatny dvor, December 6, 1643); 6) Teaching Gospel (Moscow: Pechatny dvor, June 12, 1652); 7) Triodion of the Lent (Moscow: Pechatny dvor, September 1672). Books of the 18th century are as follows: 1) Octoechos, part two (Moscow: Pechatny dvor, August 1706); 2) Service Menaion for August (Moscow: Synodal typography, August 1758); 3) Common Menaion (Moscow: Synodal typ., late 1850s); 4) Book of Hours (Pochaev, not earlier than 1785 —with a wrong date of issue given as 1778); 5) Book of Hours (Moscow: Synodal typ., March 1787); 6) Book of Hours (Grodno, 1787); 7) Psalter (Klintsy: F. K. Kartashev’s typography, early 1890s —with a wrong date of issue given as Lvov, 1791).
