Deals with the present situation of the process the professional librarians´ logic training, as well as, the role they play as active protagonists within the society of information and in the support to the educative change. The aim of this piece of paper is to think about the school librarian´s teaching functions ,taking into account the methodological matter, the orientation and the research-upgrading. There used methods of investigation of the empiric and theoretical level, such as: historical-logical, analysis and synthesis, induction deduction; observation, survey and interview.
