The archéologie préventive is progressively integrating territorial management projects in Cameroon. Despite this consideration, there is still a lack of knowledge of the regulation framework by decision makers, project managers and even archaeologists. It is now important to sensitize the different actors on the legal context of archaeology, whose outlines are presented here on a national level (Cameroon) and an international level. The disparity of intervention procedures according to the experts requires harmonization in view in order to normalized the production of expertise documents. All phases of a project are at stake before construction, during and after the work.
