Abstract

The purpose of the article is to assess the condition, prospects and determinants of the development of the retail Treasury bond market in Poland. The article uses the following research methods: literature analysis, observation method, data analysis published by the Ministry of Finance and the National Bank of Poland. As a result of the analysis, attention was paid to the chances for the development of the retail Treasury bond market in Poland resulting from the increase in household savings. It would also contribute to reducing the risk resulting from the involvement of foreign investors in the domestic government bond market.
