The formation of the contingent of disabled people with mental illnesses and sociological analysis of their financial situation

Abstract

The article presents the characteristics of the formation processes of the contingent of disabled people with mental illnesses in a large city for the 15-years period of time. The parallels between the prevalence of mental illnesses and disability are given. The sociological research of a lifestyle and social position of 640 disabled persons with mental illness was conducted.
