« Onorevole Pulcinella ! » : il “linguaggio pulcinellesco” nella politica italiana

Abstract

In the framework of political communication, this paper proposes to observe some linguistic forms which can be ascribed to a “Pulcinella language”. In this context, paying attention to the language of political leaders, we will observe how the linguistic comic techniques, especially verbal misunderstandings, tautologies, antiphrases and insults, develop the double function of tools of dissimulation and vectors of sociocultural integration.
