Les particularités de la communication didactique dans la classe de langue
Abstract
Didactic communication is a particular type of communication based on the collaboration between a teacher and students, both parts aiming at realizing the specific educational goals required by the curriculum. The present paper analyses the factors determining a successful communication at the lesson of English as a foreign language. It examines the benefits of the student centred approach in the process of a foreign language teaching / learning. The author argues that the teacher, as facilitator, should take into consideration the students’ needs to organize the educative transaction in such a way as to involve them in an active collaboration. Special emphasis should be devoted to the formulaic language. Thus, it is the contextualised language that should be taught and not the isolated words taken out of context.
